The Art in Public Places (AIPP) Committee is comprised of representatives from the Monrovia City Council, Planning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Community Services Commission and a Member at Large. The AIPP Committee is the advisory board to the Monrovia City Council on all public artwork that exceeds $5,000.

As a precaution to protect staff, our constituents, and elected officials, in accordance with Executive Order N-29-20 and guidance from the California Department of Public Health on gatherings, there will NOT be a physical meeting location and all public participation will be electronic.
Public comment will be accepted by email to kzessau@ci.monrovia.ca.us before 2:00 p.m. on May 19, 2021. If emailing your public comment please put PUBLIC COMMENT as the subject line of your email. The full text will be provided to all members of the Commission prior to the meeting and a summary will be provided during the meeting. If comments are specifically in support or opposition of an item, please clearly state so in the introduction.

Please call (626) 932-5564 prior to 2:00pm on May 19, 2021 to obtain the necessary Meeting ID and password. Please note you will enter the meeting muted. To comment during the public comment portions of the agenda, click the Participants “raised hand” icon at the appropriate time indicated by the Chair during the meeting, and you will be selected from the meeting queue. Please note that speakers must limit their comments to three minutes each.
