The Art in Public Places (AIPP) Committee is comprised of representatives from the Monrovia City Council, Planning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Community Services Commission and a Member at Large. The AIPP Committee is the advisory board to the Monrovia City Council on all public artwork that exceeds $5,000. The Committee meets quarterly in the months of January, April, July and October on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm at City Hall. Special Meetings are scheduled as needed.
CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) ADVISORY
As a precaution to protect staff, our constituents, and elected officials, in accordance with Government Code Section 54953(e) and guidance from the California and Department of Public Health, Los Angeles County Health Department, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the City Council has made the determination that there will NOT be a physical meeting location and all public participation will be electronic.

Public comment will be accepted by email to kzessau@ci.monrovia.ca.us before 2:00 p.m. on April 20, 2022. Public comment may be summarized in the interest of time, however the full text will be provided to all members of the Art in Public Places Committee prior to the meeting. If comments are specifically in support or with concerns regarding an item, please clearly state so in the introduction.
