MAP-Ed Quarterly Meeting

- Introduction: MAP Quarterly Educational Workshops are offered to keep the community educated on current community issues.
Canyon Park is only five minutes from downtown but it’s a world away.
The park offers many amazing amenities including a nature center, a cabin, trails, flora and fauna and a water fall.
Our gathering will begin at Library Park at 11:00 am where we will depart (on a bus) for Canyon Park. Park volunteers will take us on a tour of the Nature Center that offers several live animal displays, educational displays and the new Native American exhibit. After our tour the park volunteers will host an outdoor
luncheon and share their secrets to Canyon Park’s success.
What will we do if it rains? Canyon Park will come to us. Park volunteers will entertain us with pictures, displays and stories of Canyon Park.
