The seven member Board is comprised of Old Town merchants and is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on programs and projects to advance the downtown area through marketing, promotion and overall improvement of the Business Improvement District. MOTAB meets once a month on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 A.M. in Council Chambers, 415 South Ivy Avenue; however, MOTAB is currently meeting via teleconference. Boardmembers may not be a City of Monrovia employee, must have a bona fide business in the Old Town district that is subject to the Business Improvement District (BID) assessment, and must be current on their BID assessment.
