The Art in Public Places Committee (AIPP) acts as the advisory body to the City Council on expenditure of Art funds. 

Meetings are held quarterly in the months of January, April, July and October at 5:30PM at Monrovia City Hall, 415 S. Ivy Avenue, Monrovia CA.

 The Art in Public Places (AIPP) program is funded through a public benefit requirement that applies to new development projects involving five or more dwellings or has a valuation of more than $1 million. For projects that meets the threshold, the developer is required to fund public art in an amount equal to 1% of the project cost.
