AB 481: Military Equipment Policy Meeting

We invite all community members to participate in a public meeting discussing our Annual Military Equipment Use Report. This session is in compliance with Assembly Bill 481 (AB 481), requiring a yearly review and re-adoption of the Military Equipment Use Policy by the governing body/ 

 During this meeting, Monrovia Police Department will present the annual report that detail their compliance with the standards approved for military equipment usage. This is an excellent opportunity for the public to review the proposed policies, discuss the contents of the report, and post questions directly to the officers involved. 

The policy and the equipment list are available for review on the Monrovia Police Department's website. Please review this material in advance to enhance the discussion. 

Your participation is welcome to ensure transparency and community involvement in how local law enforcement operates. We look forward to your input and hope to see many of you there.
