The Monrovia Firefighters and Police Associations are excited to announce that the annual Battle of the Badges charity basketball game will be held on Saturday, November 23! Once again, they will team up with the Monrovia Police Department to raise money for the City of Hope. Get ready for a fun, action-packed game as the PD looks to avenge its loss from last year!
Tickets are available for purchase at both the Fire and Police Department lobbies
Please see the following details:
- Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Monrovia High School (845 W Colorado Blv) basketball gym
- Tacos will be sold beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- Doors open at 6:00 p.m. & tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.
- There will be a DJ and a chance to win some cool raffle prizes, including 2 TVs! (winners must be present)
- Tickets are $5.00 for ages 13+. Children 12 and under are free. Payment will be accepted via cash or Venmo to the Monrovia POA.
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the doors on the day of the event. However, a limited number of tickets will be entered into the raffle, so all those who wait to purchase at the door can still enjoy the game but may not get a chance to be entered. The Monrovia Firefighters Association will also be selling t-shirts at the game, with a portion of the proceeds going to the City of Hope.
