In observance of the holidays, City Hall, Public Works, and Police and Fire Administration will be closed from December 26, 2023, through December 29.
The City will still continue to provide emergency response and essential services. All City operations will return to normal on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Limited Services Available, December 26 - 29
From December 26 through December 29 staff will still be available to assist you in a limited manner. Members of the public can reach out to the following for assistance with services:

Water Service Applications & Account Cancellations
*Water service applications and account cancellations will still be accepted online only from December 26 to December 29. Applications and cancellations received by 4:00 p.m. on those days will be processed the same day. Applications and cancellations received after 4:00 p.m. on those days will be processed the following business day.

If you have an emergency request for water turn-on or turn off after hours, please contact Monrovia Police Dispatch at (626) 256-8000.
Utility Billing Payments
During the City's Limited Operation Schedule, utility billing payments will still be accepted in the methods described below:
- Pay your utility bill online today;
- Pay your utility bill over the phone using an automated system. You will need your Account Number and Customer Number when calling. Call 1-800-272-9829, Press Option 3 and enter jurisdiction code 1573; OR
- Non-cash payments may be dropped off at the 24-hour Payment Drop Box located at the entrance of City Hall.
