The Monrovia City Council serves as the Successor Agency Board to the former Monrovia Redevelopment Agency. The Oversight Board reviews all decisions made by the Successor Agency. The Monrovia Redevelopment Agency was formed in 1969, and our project area was created in 1973. It has been the backbone of progress in our community over the past four decades. As of February 1, 2012, redevelopment has been eliminated by the State of California.

Administrative Services prepares and records the financial transactions of the Successor Agency to the Monrovia Redevelopment Agency, which includes preparing annual Financial Statements and Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPS).

The Successor Agency, which is the City of Monrovia, will hold regular public meetings immediately following regularly scheduled City Council meetings.  For any questions regarding the meeting agenda, please contact Buffy Bullis at (626) 932-5513.
