Find your property on the Interactive Zoning Map to see how your property is zoned. Just click on the number of the map for your section of the City to get a zoomed in view. Development standards for each zone can be used to guide a new project on your property. Standards for each zone can be found here.

The Los Angeles County Assessor provides general information regarding your parcel and the buildings on it, such as the size and dimensions of the lot, years of construction, and number of units on the property.

Most Building permits and documents related to Planning approvals are now available online through the OnBase Document Portal or can be obtained through a Public Records Request. If you submit a Public Records Request, building permits and other requested documentation will be compiled and sent to you.

Older building permit information from 1911 through 1947, can also be found in the Permit Book.
