The City of Monrovia's compensation and benefits packages are very competitive among cities our size. We believe that competitive compensation and benefits, along with our unique working environment, are critical to our goal of recruiting and retaining the best and brightest employees.

Here at the City, we have six bargaining groups: General Employees, Mid Management, Management, Fire, Police, and Elected/Appointed. Each group has its own Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which details employee policies and benefits available to them for working at the City.
