If your vehicle was impounded by the Monrovia Police Department, follow the steps below in order to get it released:

STEP 1:

Go to the Police Department and ensure the following: 

• You must be the registered owner or the legal owner of the vehicle
• You must have a valid Driver's License
• Your vehicle registration must be current
• You must have proof of insurance

The Police Department is at 140 E. Lime Avenue in Monrovia.

STEP 2:

Go to the tow yard once you have been cleared by the Police Department.

The fees charged DO NOT include the storage fee at the tow yard.  They can be contacted ahead of time at (626) 357-5015 for the amount owed. The tow yard is Foothill Towing located at 150 E. Pomona in Monrovia.
