Meet the Community Services Director

Tina Cherry joined the City of Monrovia Community Services Team as the Director in March 2014, serving as the Director of Library, Parks and Recreation Division. Prior to Monrovia, Tina worked for the cities of Chino, Pico Rivera, La Palma, and Yorba Linda. Tina has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton, and her master’s in Public Administration from Cal State Northridge. Tina and her husband Craig fell in love with Monrovia and decided to relocate in 2015. Tina and Craig enjoy spending time traveling with family and doing home improvement projects. You may also see them shopping or dining in town with their adorable Shih Tzu, Charlie, at their side! While Tina is a third generation California native, she is a lifetime Denver Broncos Fan!
