Effective February 9, 2006, Universal Waste - items with lead, mercury, nickel-cadmium, lead - acid, and other toxic metals - cannot be thrown into residential trash containers. Monrovia residents can take these items to any Household Hazardous and E-Waste collection events. Universal Waste can also be taken to local Goodwill centers as well as the Monrovia Recycling Center. You may also take your universal waste to a permanent facility, permanent facilities are open to the public weekly.

Permanent Facility located at 11025 Randall St. Sun Valley, CA 91352. Open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 9:00am - 3:00pm.
